Developmen Centers
Development Centers use the same methodology as Assessment Centers, but for other goals.
Assessment Centers are usually used for personnel recruitment or promotion, while Development Centers are used to facilitate training and improve the performance of existing employees, after first obtaining an objective assessment of their strengths and competencies requiring development from a corresponding set.
The main deliverable of the Assessment Center is a solution to hire or appoint the best candidates to a new position.
The main deliverable of the Development Center is feedback and individual development planning. In other words, the Development Center is the initial training stage.
Participation in Development Centers often prepares and stimulates employees to change their behavior in terms of compliance with new business requirements.
