Development of the project team

Problem:

Project managers know all about the Gantt programme, risk analysis and even about Agile, Scrum and Lean. For some reason, however, projects barely move forward, people are demotivated, while stakeholders are unhappy. Even if everything is not that bad, all the same, more drive and more deliverables within a shorter timeframe are desired.

Solution:

People do projects. Everyone knows this. However, these people need to be selected correctly, a balanced team must be created and they must be trained in joint work.
For this purpose, Detech Group has respective tools.

What the client obtains:

• Assessment of the project manager – strengths, development areas, development recommendations.
• Assessment of the project team (“team portrait”) – strengths, development areas, recommendations on the composition and qualitative development of the team. The team is assessed for a specific task, for example, “game-changing” projects, “operational” projects, etc.
• A development session with the project team during which the manager and the team:
  • Drawing on the assessment results, recognise their strengths and development areas.
  • Obtain recommendations on how to improve the team’s performance.
  • Compile a plan of specific actions on how to improve the team’s performance.
• Development sessions for the team and its individual participants during the implementation of projects developed for specific objectives (work with stakeholders), external communications and team communications, conflict management, etc.)

We also propose a special workshop “Management of remote and distributed teams”.
In this workshop, we use the experience and results of the research accumulated during remote work against the backdrop of the Covid pandemic restrictions.
